AMA Council Tax Effectiveness Recognised

An article in the Greenock Telegraph has praised the effectiveness of AMA in effecting Council Tax recoveries. It also highlights the efforts of AMA to develop their relationships by working in partnership with our clients and providing ease of communication. While the article focusses initially on a backlog of debt that has built up over a 22 year period it does confirm the improvement in collection levels since AMA took over in 2012 leading to Inverclyde’s highest ever collection levels last year both for current and prior year debt.

We are very pleased with this public recognition of the investment AMA have put in over the years to develop and continually improve systems that optimise recovery for clients. This not only covers continuing focus in ensuring our IT systems are state of the art but also investing heavily in communication systems and staff training. We have also improved the facilities for customers to make payments and contact us. Recent examples include making advice available via Facebook introducing theAllpay App for payments on the go and adding the facility to use SagePay tokens on our website.
